The Alain Spiess prize, which rewards a second novel, has announced its first selection of fifteen titles for its tenth edition, according to Livres Hebdo.
The trade publication did not name the titles or authors chosen. A second, narrower selection is due to be revealed at the end of September.
The winner will be announced on 16 October at the Millepages bookshop in Vincennes, Livres Hebdo reports.
